| 01/15/12 - I was adopted. 11/10/11 - Snacks is a great dog. He lived the first part of his life with just him and his dad. He went everywhere, loves to ride in the car. He slept in the bed. He had run of the house and he was a happy hound. Well dad got married, there are other dogs and a new baby. Snacks is just not happy. He wants to be center of attention. He has learned to get along with the other dogs but would just prefer to be an only dog. He LOVES cats, gets along fine with chickens, goat etc. Snacks loves people and he loves attention. He would be the happiest dog with a semi retired or retired person. Or maybe someone that spends a lot of time in the car and wants a passanger. Snacks is not a slug of a bassett. He loves to play, loves to chase toys. Food is also his friend as he is a little overweight. He likes to keep the other 4 legged friends from eating too much. Snacks truely is a great boy. And it is a very hard decision for his family to give him up but unselfishly if someone else can make him happier for the next 10 years that is what they want. |
