08/09/11 - Right now Sam and his buddies are having a little game of tag, running all around the house!  My daughter and I went camping for a little over a week and I told them that they were going to go to the doggy hotel for a little while, and that I'd be back in a few days!  When we arrived to pick them up, they were so happy to see us. All wags and wiggles. The kids shaved the dogs before we all went off on our trips. They shaved their backs and halfway down their legs. It looks great!  Sam was a little difficult because he's got a few warts on his back.  But in the end they both turned out pretty well. It probably feels good in the summer heat.  Now the babies look beautiful.  Not to mention cuts down on how much fur they shed.  Everyone comments on how cute they are, with their tongues sticking out and how friendly!  They really are beautiful dogs, very affectionate.  We all love them very much. Both the dogs like lots of attention. Guiness balances on his back legs when he wants your attention and Guiness will climb half way on your lap. He loves to give kisses! Guiness prefers to just be held like a baby, where he goes right to sleep in only a couple minutes. It's pretty funny. They both like to look out the window at my desk to see what is going on, especially Guiness. Not too long ago we took the dogs to the beach and Guiness had his head out the window of the car and then he jumped out of the car!  Luckily we were hardly moving and he had a leash on!  Just something to be aware of, hang on tight or don't roll the window too far down. Guiness came to help me update just now.  He's sitting in my lap right now. I guess that's all for now. Better scoop these guys up, they have some of the best personallities I've seen!

- Sam is doing great, he came here with Guiness and the vet seemed to think that Guiness may be his father as he is younger than Sam. They both seem to be very attatched to each-other at any rate.
He always wags his tail upon your arrival and is very attentive to every move you make. Because of this I believe he will be easily trained in obedience class. They both really want to be with you and be a part of whatever is going on. They love to ride in the car and go for long walks. The kids walk them both every morning, after school and before bed.
Samuel just had a bath and he really likes it. He held still and allowed it while Guiness was not quite as fond of bathing. They are both really super sweet. Sam is much more energetic than Guiness and can get a bit hyper at times where Guiness just prefers to lay back, although he has his moments like when he is teasing the other two with a bone. Both are extremely loveable and very sweet.

Great news!  Sam is pretty close to being completely house broken!  We have discovered that he likes to hoard treats, toys and whatever else he can find in his kennel.  Now we know why he doesn't like other dogs near his kennel.  Sam also had a spa treatment and is now very soft and handsome.   He loves to nibble and play whenever possible.  He is a high energy dog and loves long walks and lots of playtime.

Sam is doing great here. He is a very happy and playful dog.  He loves to run and jump and you'd think he was half kangaroo.  He is very sweet, gives lots of kisses, and he'll do anything for a treat.  Everyone who meets him always mentions how friendly he is.  He is so sweet.  Sam loves playing with the other two dogs but once in a while the two boys will get in tiny spats over bones.   Neither of them have been hurt, they're just protective.  Most of the time they are very loving toward each other. They like to cuddle up and watch movies.  Sam goes for a walk at least two times a day and house training is coming along really well.  He is a fast learner and a sweet boy.  He'd be great for a family!

Sam continues to be a super sweet, happy puppy.  The dogs all get along great.  I took them to the vet on Friday as Sam had a bump on his back, turns out it is just in the skin, no emergency and no other issues.  The vet really had a good time with Sam and Guiness.  She kept saying how cute and sweet they are and it is true they are...
They are both completely housebroken now and learned this quite quickly by being bribed with bologna! They get a piece after they "hurry up" outside and get much praise! Anything for that cheap treat bologna I tell ya!
The kids walk them every morning and night and they always look forward to that with their tails just a wagging!  They are soooo adorable.

Sam is doing great. He is gets along fine with the other dogs. Although, he likes his own kennel to be his only, and he is protective of it. I went to the store and got them some bones. Our dog pigged out on them pretty well and Sam got a few. They enjoyed them quite a bit. The kids take the dogs for walks every night and report that he walks well on the leash. He is so cute! He has some manners and doesn't bark very much with the exception of being placed in the kennel. He settles down after a few minutes though. Will update as we learn more!
