02/01/11.  I have had Fayth for a little over a week and she is such a little sweetheart!  She is housetrained, crate trained and has not had any accidents in either.  She was sleeping in the crate at night but I couldn't resist that little face and now let her sleep in bed.  She just curls up and sleeps through the night - happy to be near me.  She knows sit and we are working on other commands.  She doesn't walk well on a leash but when you are that small, it's not that big of an issue!

She loves people but has been growling and snapping at my dog, Banjo.  That behavior has improved over the week and eventually she might be OK with another dog in the house.  But I think she would be happiest as an only dog.  I took her to the dog park over the weekend and she was fine with other dogs outside and off-leash so the aggressiveness seems restricted to inside. She has started copying some of Banjo's behavior which is so adorable!  Every day when I come home from work, Banjo jumps up on the bed while I am changing my clothes and rolls over on his back for a belly rub.  After watching Banjo do that for a few days, she started doing the same thing.  Now I have two bellies to rub while changing my clothes!

She loves the snow and will bound through drifts much bigger than she is with no hesitation but once inside loves nothing better than to curl up in your lap and sleep.  She is great in the car and enjoys looking out the window to watch everything going by.  Fayth enjoys standing at the patio door and keeping an eye on the squirrels in the yard - keeping us all safe from attacks!

01/31/11-
Sadly Fayth is back to find her real forever home.  After 2 years in her last home, she had started to be more snappy around the visiting grandkids (which was known issue with her when adopted), but her home was not wanting to keep her seperated any longer.  She also felt she needed someone home more or with more time for Fayth.  Updates soon from her new foster home.

January-2009 - I was adopted again!

12/31/08 -
Unfortunately Fayth came back to rescue on 12/22 as she had become snappy with the 6 year old dog-loving grandson.  After several close calls, her family made the tough decision to let her find another home.  Fayth has been doing great here over the past week and is starting to settle in at her foster home.  She is the cutest little thing and LOVES to snuggle and give kisses!  At first she liked to chase my kittens, but now she has learned that is not acceptable and only chases once in awhile playfully (in true "terrier" fashion! LOL).  I think Fayth is a little intimidated by the 2 big dogs here (foster boxer
boy Chico & my Simon) as she will sure let them know she doesn't want anything to do with them!  Lots of yapping & growling & Simon is now afraid of her and Chico only attempts to play with her once in awhile! LOL   She seems to think the cats are more her size and she now enjoys them trying to play games with her.   She really prefers to just be with you and she is the perfect sized lap dog.  She loves to be carried around too and see the sites from higher up.   I think her name should have been Scruffy as her hair is so cute & wavy & just goes in every which direction at all times!  Did I say she is adorable & so cute!?

August-2007 Fayth was adopted!

7/31/07 -
Fayth is such a cutie pie. Her hair is so awesome, it compliments her personality so much.  She is very playful, loves being with the other dogs and playing with the toys. She also loves to cuddle and snuggle. She is a joy to have around and we are really enjoying her puppyness. She seems like she is learning and experiencing new things all the time. She listens very well for such a young girl. She has had no accidents in her kennel and does good when we are not home. She listens when you tell her no. I think Fayth would love some kids to play with and a place to run around and have some fun.

07/22/07 -
I just got Fayth and Max last night. I'm really impressed with these two little cuties. They are very easy to have around and when they meet the other dogs it was no problem. They are the easiest dogs I have ever brought into my home. I think my other dogs would definatley agree with me.

Fayth looks like a Terrier mix. She has a half black half white face and wirey hair sort of like a poodle.   She has been a gem to have around. She is a very fun loving dog. She enjoys playing with the other dogs and with the toys.  She runs around the back yard trying to get on of the other dogs to chase her, it is really funny.  She was fixed on Tuesday and is doing really well.

07/11/07 -
Fayth was turned into rescue today due to her owner being ill. She was owned by a 14 yr old girl that is in and out of the childrens hospital and the family was just not able to care for 3 dogs anymore. Fayth is a firecracker. She is super sweet, loves everyone, good with dogs, cats and kids. She is housebroken, cratetrained. She will be spay and brought up to date on her shots on Tuesday. Fayth gives meaning to energy. She wants to play, play, play and would enjoy some kids to do it with. More updates soon.
