UPDATE 1/10/11 - carlos is doing great !! He has adjusted very well to our family ..he is so full of love and excitment. My children love him so much and carlos is always in there shadows. He has learned the command sit and its only been a week ! He is very smart ! He is doing well with potty training any accidents he may have are usually always on the puppy pads, he has not had one in his crate ! We have been very busy playing and learning eachother but i think we are starting to get the same schedules. He has had fun playing with my fathers boxer sarah carlos actually out played her !( never thought i would see her slow down). Today he had a bath and was great ! We are going to the vet this afternoon for a check up and i think he has roundworms :( (Yuck!) We will see ...Right now he is taking his afternoon nap before the kids get home in twenty minutes. Thank you to his foster family again we are so happy with carlos he is a great fit and exactly what our family was missing !

1/2/11 - Carlos has been adopted!

11/23/10 - Hey Everyone Carlos here. Obviously my foster mom stinks at telling you about me because I am still here! My foster brother is pretty computer savvy so we hijacked foster moms lap top so I can take matters into my own paws. So I get the fact that I am a Puggle (Pug/Beagle Mix) and I landed in a Boxer Rescue. Strange I know but let me tell you I have been hanging with these crazy boxers since I was 9 weeks old and they don't have anything on me!

I generally love my foster home, the kids and the other dogs but something awful happened this morning. My foster mom didn't feed me. Yup, it is true. Puggle abuse I tell ya. I heard something about the economy being bad and things being slow at foster moms work but I never thought she would starve me! Even batting my pretty puggle brown eyes didn't work (now remember I am a blond color with black around my eyes so I always look like I am wearing make-up so I am irresistible and it still didn't work!) I am just beside my self and super hungry too. Geesh, you think you know someone then they starve you! My foster mom gave me some line of bologna saying it is for my own good and I am going to be neutered this morning. I truly don't care where we are going this morning because I haven't had BREAKFAST! Well, I have to go. I see FM getting my leash. I am hoping there is a good reason for not being fed today. Maybe this neuter thing will turn out to have food, like a big buffet or smorgasbord! Ahh, a Puggles dream, that must be it because my FM wouldn't starve me! I asked my foster brothers what a neuter was and they just said I would find out soon enough.... I think they might be jealous because they ate kibble and I get a buffet. Call my foster family they will tell you all about me!

Love, Carlos

11/7/10 - Carlos continues to do really well here at his foster home. He loves everyone and everything. We got another foster pup the other day and Carlos graciously welcomed her into our home. I was so happy to see how sweet he is with her. No jealousy or issues what so ever. He could easily be adopted to a multiple dog home, he does really well with the other dogs here. Carlos is the cutest little guy and one look from those little pug eyes will make you MELT! He is pretty good at following the rules here and doesn't get himself into much trouble. You can definitely see how happy he is just by looking at his tail it is ALWAYS wagging sometimes with so much enthusiasm it makes his butt sway from side to side. You can't possibly have a bad day with little Carlos around he is so happy it is contagious!

9/28/10 -
Carlos is doing really well at his foster home. He is a sweet, friendly little guy. He went to a Pet Expo with us over the weekend and once he got use to the new environment with lots of people, other dogs, noise etc. He did really, really well. It only took him a few minutes to settle down.  He got tons of attention and was picked up and cuddled by many, many people. He was truly in his glory with getting so much attention. I am so surprised no one has scooped Carlos or Santana up yet! Though I do expect some applications to be coming through from the Pet Expo. There were quite a few families that would have taken them that day if we did on site adoptions. I really could have made rescue some money and charged a dollar to "Cuddle a Puggle!"
Carlos is learning the ropes with housebreaking and is doing quite well. He doesn't get himself into too much mischief in the house either he is a good boy!

8/23/10
- Two of the sweetest little Puggles (Pug/Beagle mixes) arrived here on Saturday after a long transport. They are about 9 weeks old and just as cute as can be. We have named them Carlos and Santana.
Carlos is a light fawn, almost blond color. He is an absolute hoot and a bit of a drama queen. If my 2 year old boxer boy starts bouncing around and trying to play with him he squeaks and squeals like a maniac. Mind you my boxer hasn't laid a paw on him. Carlos just squeals like an injured piglet and starts running around frantically. It is so funny, now when Carlos wants to play with him all is well.
     More updates coming soon!
NOTE: Because I am a puppy, I need a home where someone is home most of the time, work at home, retired, stay home parent, etc.
And they call it,
Puggle loooooooove...
