UPDATE 11/3/10 - Norton is a real cutie, so sweet & gentle, and I absolutely adore him. He has however been not at all housebroken so far. It was more than just being in a new home, and more than my being not so great at house training. He actually seemed to have no idea he was having an accident. He has been to see a vet and is now on a special food and medication. It seems to be helping, but may take awhile. It is down to just one or two accidents a day, which is quite an improvement, and he is finally sleeping through the night, most nights now. His big Boxer friend loves him, and they get along wonderfully. He is also very good with the cat. He starts dog classes on Saturday, will have a follow up visit with the vet while there, and get more of the special vet formula food. He seems to be a smart little guy, and has already learned to sit & wait for me to go first at the door before leaving & entering -Just like his Boxer friend does. He will be the top scholar in his class this weekend   and be able to show the other little guys some tricks!

10/10/10 - Norton has been adopted!

9/7/10 -
Well yesterday my foster family is getting ready to leave the house. Usually that means crate time, but this time they put a leash on me and expected me to come along. A new adventure. Well I didn't really want to get in the car but once in there I sat very quiet next to the baby. She held my fur and kept me safe. We arrived at a new house where I met two more little dogs both adopted from SCBR. The poodle Chief was cool and he showed me around. I thought the parrots were cool, they even talked to me. The grandparents had nice treats, which I was to excited to eat. But then he took me outside and boy was that fun. They let me run and boy did I run. We chased chickens,  they are fast so we didn't catch anyone. And then they opened the fence and these huge dogs came out. I smelled them and chased them and licked them and there were so many, I didn't know what to do. So I tried to herd them, come to find out they were not dogs but goats. Wow, are they funny things! They wouldn't play with me or really even look at me all they wanted was grain. So I went back to playing with Chief and chasing the chickens. I came every time I was called and was the best behaved boy. I did not even react when the snotty little chihuahua of the house tried to beat me up. I just walked away. Does she know I'm bigger and could kick her butt? I don't fight I love everyone and everyone is really loving me. So, I'm ready to move on to my forever home. I am ok with kids of all ages, love the baby here even when she pulls my fur, great with dogs of all sizes, have a 5 pound chihuahua up to a 150 lb mastiff. Don't mind birds, chickens or even goats. What more can you ask for?? Oh ya, even cratetrained and housebroken. So get your app in fast I'm ready to move on.  Norton

8/30/10
- Norton arrived last night from a local shelter. He is one happy happy boy. He has met everyone and his tail never stops. He is so cute and looks like a teddy bear. Norton was found as a stray so we will update as we get to know him a little bit.
