| UPDATE 7/27/09 - Tilly is doing very well! It didn't take her long to get comfortable here. She is so loving and totally in love with our daugther that she refuses to let her out of her sight...She even sleeps under her bed! She does bark to warn us that someone is here which is totally great but is very shy when it comes to new people or dogs but gets along great with other dogs that visit!Just recently she went on a trip to Pemaquid with us and she had a blast. She went in the fort and barked but loved to hear it echo. She is going to visit our vet today just to see if everything is fine and see why she has such a pooping problem. For a doggie she can clear a room fast!!! We were told she didnt need obedience training but that hasnt been a problem she is a great listener and very smart. She comes when called and listens very well to everyone including a three year old. She loves the cows here and the chickens but the bunny she wants to chase across the county which was explained recently!
....we
took her to a park and there was someone there who thought she might not be aussie shephard but bluetick hound which would explain her insatiable urge to chase the bunny..but we are so in love with her!! Thank you to everyone at second chance for giving our tilly a second chance!!! Talk to you soon!!! 6/28/09 - And Poof~ Just like that, Tilly was adopted! She's got a new skin brother and sister and they can all grow up together! |
