| 12/13/09 - Charlie arrived yesterday due to financial problems in his family. He is a cute little overweight boy. He was great in the car just rolled over wanting a belly rub. We took a quick stop at the groomers as his nails were so long. He stood right there without an issue. He has obviously been groomed before. He is going Monday morning for a full make up. Charlie arrived home he instantly met Bruiser the chihuahau and they hit it right off. He seems to love everyone that he meets.
Charlie has some obvious ear problems so will be seeing the vet this week. I think he does not hear overly well due to the infection he has going on. Hopefully we can clear that right up. I am told that Charlie can be a little protective of his food bowl so he ate in his crate without a problem. He slept most of the night and has had no accidents. We will update you again as we get to know this very cute guy. FROM THE WEB LADY: I met Charlie tonight and he's a handsome man who sat there in the midst of a holiday party with only the occasional bark at those coming in the door right next to his kennel. When they brought him downstairs, out of the throng, he was a quiet, polite gentleman who let the kids come up to his crate and pet him through the wire. He also grasciously and gently relieved them of their offered tidbits of ham and turkey from the party buffet. Not another peep out of him. Oh, and until a picture of him gets up, just think of the little, white, pointy eared, dog on the top of the little tubs of wet dog food. I forget the name, sorry. |
