| 5/26/09 - Bernie was surrendered to a local shelter with 4 other dogs. Being the shyest of the bunch, the shelter asked if we could put him in a foster home and let him warm up. Well, warm up he has! Bernie has only been here 24 hours but he is wagging his tail, greeting everyone well. Getting along with the other dogs and generally being a good boy. He does want to always be in your lap, which can be a problem with so many others here. But he is learning to wait his turn. More updates as we get to know him. |
