UPDATE 3/1/10 - Zack has fit in to our home wonderfuly. He chases our other boxer around the yard and sleeps on the couch with the kids. He is the most mellow easy going dog ever. He went to the vet and got a clean bill of health and they just loved him. He is laying on my feet at the moment and waiting to go for our daily walk he looks foward to this and jumps when the leash comes out. We love him and look foward to enjoying his company for years to come.

2/21/10 - Zack has been adopted!

1/3/2010 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! I guess... not sure what that means, but I heard thet alot over the weekend. I'm still here in PA with my foster mom, not that im complaining,(I eat really well here) but I'm waiting for my furrever family to come get me. I've been a really good boy and I behave very well. (foster mom says I do). We had alot of fun over the holiday. We even got presents, it was awsome!! There were lots of people her to that loved me up and said how "handsome" I am. (Blush)
What???? Foster mom just said I need to put my coat on and go out side and get my pic taken! No way!!!! Does she have any idea how cold it is out there!? Uh uh, Nope, I'm not gonna do it. Hmmm she has a hot dog with my name on it, I guess I will go out.... just this once. She better make it fast! I'm gonna be here so if anyone out there is looking for a great boy, I'm the one!!! I won't let you down, I promise. Now, where's my snuggie so I can get this over with........

12/8/09 - Zack is continuing to do well. Still gaining weight and looking much better. I've been letting him play a little more and he really loves it. He is a very good boy and is over all, very calm and likes to lay around. He never causes any problems. He is alowed to sleep up stairs with us, although he perfers to sleep under the bed, that is fine by me. He is still waiting for his forever home. I can't say enough that he is a good boy and has a good soul. He loves every one. He and Cooper aren't friends but they can live together. Are you his forever home? He's a great boy.

11/3/09 - Hi, Zack here. FM wanted me to write since I cant do anything else. What a drag!! I can't run or jump or play, I'm going crazy!!!! Fm says I have to be very still and quite cause I'm healing from my heartworm treatment.. I feel great though, I love to eat and I'm gaining weight. She says thats a good thing. I used to be so itchy, I itched every where, but now I'm fine, no more itch, thats great. There is a little boy here who likes to play video games and he sits with me a lot so I don't get too bored, thats nice of him. It is getting cold here and I dont think iIlike that. FM said she ordered me a coat to keep me warm. Thats what I know for now, I can't wait to run and kick up my heals again. I guess Ill go take a nap.

10/21/09 - Well Zack had his last heartworm shot and for the most part is doing well. He is very sore and a bit sleepy which is good because he needs to be still and quiet. He is such a sweet boy and is soo well behaved. He loves to be petted and hugged. Everyone at the vets office just fell in love with him, he talks to everyone. so for now he is doing well and resting. He has gained 10 pounds since he has been here which is great. Ill keep the updates comming.

10/12/09 - Look at this face, wouldn't you put it on a stamp? Zack is such a sweetheart. He has an appointment at the vet this evening and I can't wait to see how much weight he has gained. We had a nice little walk this weekend. We were walking along, minding our own business, and passed some little poodles (no offense to poodle lovers) barking yipping at us and chasing us down the street. Zack wanted no part of the little yappers, and was afraid of them. Imagine this tall, masculine boxer trying to get away from 2 little poodles! Zack is a big couch potato with an enormous appetite. We still haven't been able to get him to play fetch but he does like to run around the yard to let everyone know it's "HIS" yard now! I'll update more after the vet visit.

10/2/09 - Zack has arrived in PA. What a sweet and funny boy. He is very tall and very very thin. He is also a slight/ low positive for heart worm and has begun treatment. He is so easy going, loves the kids and gets along fine with the other dog here. he walks fine on a leash and is totally housebroken. He has no problem going in the crate. He likes to run in the yard and he is so tall that he looks like a deer. He is so funny he keeps us all laughing. He needs to gain some weight and get better, but he is a wonderful boy and will make someone a great friend.
