UPDATE 11/2/10 - Angus is doing very well.  He has completed level 1 of obedience. He has been going to dog daycare twice per week and loves it.  He has really bonded with our older beagle, Chloe.  He loves us and does not mind showing it.  He is certainly loved by us.  He will be neutered in mid November.

UPDATE 10/1/10 - Angus us doing very well.  He has been taking obedience classes and is doing well with almost all of his commands.  He needs to work on "come"!  He has been attending daycare a couple of times per week and absolutely loves it.

UPDATE 9/8/10 -
Angus has adjusted quite nicely at home.  We have a 12 year-old beagle and he is really following her lead.  He really seems to like her, he follows her around and snuggles whenever possible.  He wants to play more that she does but he responds well to her "leave me alone" queues.
We have been walking Angus on various nature trails and he does very well on the leash during those walks.  The pavement is an entirely different story.  He hates walking on the pavement and will often just sit down.
His housetraining is progressing. We brought Angus to our vet when we picked him up and she did not think he was quite clear of his kennel cough yet.  She put him on another round of antibiotics.  He has responded very well.  His breathing is very clear and he is not coughing or releasing any mucus anymore.  His energy has picked up as well.
Obedience training starts next week.
He really is a love.

9/3/10 - Walker has been adopted!

8/24/10 -
OMG, all puppies are cute and sweet but  this boy is just delicious. He is so gentle, so smart and so sweet.    He has begun learning the kind of stuff a big dog needs to know... He has begun to climb the stairs and he never messes in his crate and is well on his way to house training.
He takes correction and direction from the resident dogs in stride. When he is getting a little too jumpy / playful and they put a stop to it. He is submissive and gives them  sweet little kisses to makes up to them.
He is going to be a big boy. He is 30 lbs and is 3 months old. ( I love a big dog )
His cold is still clearing up but we are anticipating he will be golden in another week or so... this boy is a keeper!!  Please get your application in now!!

8/18/10 -
Can you say shana punim? Can you say Faccia Bella?? NO matter what language you choose Yiddish, Italian or English this boy is just adorable.
He will need to be with us a few weeks before he is ready for adoption. He has bronchitis and is on medication and will be receiving nebulizer Treatments for 2 weeks. He is as sweet as can be :)  We will update as his progress shortly.
*Note- Because I'm a puppy, I'll need someone who is home most of the time- stay-home, work at home, retired.
