1/23/10 - Tyson was adopted today!

1/17/10 -
Tyson is settled in to our family lifestyle with little problem. He enjoys his meal timesand takes great interest in food. Instead of Tyson I think he should be named Dyson because he inhales his meals rapidly and leaves not a speck. Better than any vacuum I have ever owned! He is also enjoying his outdoor play time and is coming when called. Our dogs are getting a real work out playing with the newcomer which is a good thing. Their favorite is a race through a grove of pine trees in the back yard { it's Boxer Tag}. Great fun to watch. Afternoon is spent pretending to watch baskeltball with Pete but all four sleep in front of the fire and no one knows the score. Also fun to watch. He will sit when asked, learning to stay and sleeps all night in his crate. He is reluctant to go into his crate but is persuaded by treats. He is affectionate, loving and likes to be with the family every minute. His only problem at this time is his exuberant puppy jumping which we are working on, He can be calmed if given a little time to contain himself. I think he is just a lovely little guy and will make someone very happy. I am the soft hearted one in the family so I will add that Pete thinks so too. Pete is not as easily won over.
Off to the Vet. in the morning and I hope Tyson doesn't hold a grudge. It seems rude to do this to someone we just met.
