3/13/10 - I was adopted today! Bye Flashie! Bye Bo! Bye Bruiser!!

2/18/10
- Greetings all. Master Flashda, I am. Training, I have finished for Stitch. Much learned, he has. Young Dog-i, now he is. Pleased, Master Flashda is. HA HA! Wasn’t that funny? Me, Bo, the puppies and my human brother have been watching Star Wars lately. We like Star Wars, especially the Eewoks. We think they look like cats.
So. What’s the deal? Where are you? Stitchie was supposed to be in his forever home by now.  Listen, I think it’s really important that you make up your mind and come get him, OK? You’ll like him, I promise. He’s everything a puppy should be, curious, snuggable, loving and cute. (Again, not as cute as me, but I’m really an exceptional specimen of dog genetics. I’m like a super model of the dog world a “super dog” if you will.)  Mom is always saying that Stitchie has the cutest face. The skin around his eyes droops just a little bit and mom says it looks like he’s been up all night sometimes when he’s really tired or when he just gets up, the skin under his eyes is all red.  Mom says it makes him irresistible and you can’t help but mush his face and smooch it. Oh yeah, I wanted to tell that when he sits, his big ol’ paws point to the side not straight out front like mine.  Me and Bo think it makes him look bow legged like the dog in Tom and Jerry. Yeah, if that dog was black he would totally look like Stitch.  All big and meaty up front but little and skinny in the butt.
Here’s what you need before you come and get Stitchie…. A comfy couch or bed or crate. Stitchie doesn’t mind the crate at all as long, as he’s got something to chew. He loves to chew. He steals all my toys outta the toy box and chews them. Mom told me not to worry because she’ll keep getting me more, so I let him. I don’t want him to get my favorite octopus though. I been hiding that upstairs where they can’t get it. So, you gotta get him toys. Lots of toys. Stuffed toys, but not the kind with the beans in them because he’ll rip ‘em open and there will be plastic beans everywhere. He likes chew bones too. So get him lots of them. I bet he’d like a kong with peanut butter in it too. Mom can’t find our kong. She thinks it’s out back under the snow. Mom says his chewing will probably stop in a few months because his big teeth are coming in. She says he’s already lost some baby teeth and his adult teeth are starting to come in. I think that’s good news because those puppy teeth are like little razors. They would play with me and I’d get a tooth in the paw or ear and it felt like I was being attacked by a shark!!  Mom said I used to chew a lot too, but I don’t believe her.
Ok , Yeah, you need a comfy place for Stitch to hang out because he’s LAZY!  If he’s not chewing on MY toys, he’s laying around snoozing. If you sit down on the couch, he’s the first one to come to you looking for pets. Mom has gotten him used to getting belly rubs so you’re going to have to give them to him on a regular basis too. I know he would love some visits to the dog park or a doggie day care or going to visit another dog. He’s lived with 3 other dogs for a while now and he knows the pack life. Or maybe you want to adopt Stitchie and Bruiser together. (yeah?!?) Think about it….they’re really cute together….
Mom wanted me to add that he’s all potty trained now.  He knows how to ring a bell to go potty.  He also knows the word “snack” and when he hears that he’ll go to the crate if you’re standing near it. Part of his Dog-I training was to stand by the fridge and look sad.  I am pleased to inform you that he has mastered that trick.  Well, that’s all I want to write now. You can call me anytime if you have more questions about Stitch or if you just want to talk to me. I’m a little disappointed that you haven’t called already, but I know you been busy, so I’ll forgive you but make sure you call soon OK?!
Your pal,
Flash  (Master Flashda)

1/3/2010 - I’m here with ANOTHER update on Stitch.  Yeah, you saw the picture.  You saw how uncomfortable I was on the couch.  WHAT?  You DIDN’T see the picture.  Stop right here.  Go look at the pictures.  Yes.  RIGHT NOW.  I’ll wait here. ......
OK- you back?  Good.  Did you SEE how uncomfortable I was? So are you going to do something about it??  Don’t give me that look.  YOU KNOW YOU WANT HIM! I mean, if I were going to adopt a dog,  I think he would be a good choice.  He’s soft and cuddly and warm like any good puppy should be.  He really likes being warm and snuggled.  He’s not a big fan of the cold. When it’s potty time – he doesn’t mess (ha ha) around- he’s the fastest peer in the state!   If he could hold it, I think he wouldn’t go until June.  Me and Bo run around like crazy manics in the snow.  I tried tricking him by telling him the whole yard was a big BLANKET of snow!! He was so excited there was a whole yard of blanket!  He got really mad at me, but I finally got him back for playing pranks and scaring me when he was under the bed.  He still does that but I’m really careful now.  Know what?  The other day I walked by and his back legs were sticking out from under the bed.  He looked like the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz.  With his black and white paws looking like the witch’s legs.  It looked like the bed fell on him instead of Dorothy’s house.  Mom wanted to get a picture, but the camera was downstairs so you’re just gonna have to use your ‘magination.
Been trying to figure out why they call him Stitch.  I was wondering if it was like Stitch in “Lilo and Stitch”.  Didjaever see that movie?  This Stitch doesn’t turn into an alien though.  Not that I’ve seen.  And I don’t think he plays guitar and sings Elvis songs, but maybe when he gets older.  I don’t know . I do know this Stitch is the "King" of the puppies.  He ALWAYS eats first.  The other 2 bark and bark and bark while he’s eating but he doesn’t care.  He always gets the best snuggle spot too.  He’s not the boss of me though, so don’t worry if you’ve got another dog.  He’ll be good.  I know cuz I’ve been giving him lessons on how to be AWESOME – just like me!!
So… come get him.  You’ll love him so  much you won’t “Return to Sender”…..hahahahahaha – even DOGS can make Elvis jokes!
I’ll see you soon

12/23/09 -
Hello from Flash.  For those of you who don’t know, I live here with my adopted brother, Bo.  We were happy and doing just fine until mom had to bring 3 puppies home to foster.  She says fostering is just letting them stay with you until they find their furrever home.  Well after a few days of being here, Me and Bo have decided that this house isn’t big enough for the 5 of us!
I know you, dear reader, are wondering what you can do to help a poor boxer boy like me.   Well, I’ll tell you….come get this Stitch character out of here!!  For some reason Stitch really likes me.  He’s always following me around asking me to teach him to be a cool dog like me.  I tell him I don’t know how to TEACH him to be cool, I just AM!  I would say out of all these stinkin’ puppies, he’s the LAZIEST.  He sleeps ALL the time.   Well, except for when he’s NOT sleeping…that’s usually when he’s following me or  playing pranks on me.  He really likes to hide under the couch and pounce at me when I walk by.  It drives me crazy because he ALWAYS scares me! Mommy laughs because I jump sideways like a cat, I get so scared.   Stitch likes to break Mommy’s rules.  Mommy says NO PUPPIES ON THE COUCH!  Stitch totally doesn’t care and climbs up when no one is looking.  As a matter of fact, he stole my spot last night.  Bo took a picture of it to prove it.  I tried to get him to move, but he wouldn’t, so I just laid right on top of him.  He STILL didn’t move!    Mom says he’s very curious and bold.  Yeah – whatever Ma– he’s totally a pest!!
OK, I guess I have to say something nice about him or you won’t want to adopt him… so here goes…He is a pretty cute guy – he’s got a big puppy belly and cute pink little pads on his feet that get bright pink after he comes in from the snow.   Mom says he’s doing great with potty training; we’re having less and less accidents every day.  She found out he’s really motivated by cheese.  I’m gonna make him a sign, “will pee for cheese”.   He had no problem adjusting to his leash and he loves going for walks.  He needs a good lap to snuggle on.  We have laps here, but not enough laps for all the dogs.  He needs a lap of his own. I’m getting tired of him stealing MY lap…even though Mommy says I’m not a lap dog, somehow I manage to scrunch myself up to fit.  Mostly….  OK,  so have your peeps call my peeps and we’ll make this happen… K?  K!  I’ll let him know you’re on your way.

- The puppies arrived on Sunday and are very active and healthy.  Such cute little babies.  They each have a personality.  So cute.  Pup 6 is the largest of all the pups.  I call him my little moose lol.  So cute.  The little puppies would fit perfect in a stocking?????  Put a pretty red or green bow on them and "ho ho ho".  Make this the best Holiday ever.  Bring home your forever friend.
**NOTE: Because I am a puppy, I will need someone who is home most of the time like work-at-home, retired, homemaker, etc.
I'm Daddy
I'm Momma
He's sleeping in my spot
Asking nicely for him to move
Fine, be that way...
Yah, this is comfy...
