UPDATE 8/26/10 - Ned is doing wonderfully at our home! He is all boxer puppy, full of excitement and energy, with a loving boxer demeanor.  He has become fast pals with Lola, our 3 year old boxer girl, as well as with our 2 and 4 year old sons.  He is slowly but surely learning to do his business outside. All in all, he is a natural addition to the family.  Ned did have a significant cough starting on the drive home last week, but he was checked out by the vet, completing a course of antibiotics, and now feeling much better!! Our vet waits until 6 months to neuter, so that will happen when the time comes. We all love this little (not for long)guy, thanks so much for letting us bring him home!

8/20/10 - I was adopted today!

8/16/10 -
Quick note to let you all know how Silas and Marvin, aka the White Wonder Twins are doing.
We continue to be completely astonished at the magnitude of cuteness these boys posses.
They are doing great.  The play joyfully, sleep like logs, and eat and drink like linebackers.
They had a vet appointment this morning and Dr. Nasr said they are both in great health.  They had their nails clipped (yeah!! so many scratches on me from those skinny long nails) and he took a stool sample.  They had vaccinations just before coming into rescue so their next (and last) round of puppy shots will be due next week.
These boys have made quite an impression in our building.  They are all anyone can talk about.  I had 3 kids in the apartment yesterday (none my own) writing and shooting a movie with a little flip camera about "The Boxers of 40 OP" (Our address is 40 Ocean Parkway.)  It was starring our 3 year old boxer Maddie and introducing Marvin and Silas.  It was hilarious!

8/14/10 -
Silas is a mover and a shaker.  He is so happy  you can see sheer joy in his face as he bounds from this to that exploring everything in his path.  He is as cute as a button and has a perfect round spot on his back.  His fur is so soft that you just want to pick up his body and rub him on your face!  And don't even get me started on his plump pink belly.  Oh my.   He likes a good rub and cuddle but is independent and when it is time to sleep wants to be out of your lap and on his own bed.  He needs to be brought up to date on his shots but as soon as that happens he will be ready for his forever home.
*Note- Because I'm a puppy, I'll need someone who is home most of the time- stay-home, work at home, retired.
