UPDATE 5/28/10 -   Newman has been doing good since coming home to Concord, NH.  He is adjusting well and learning his place in the family.  We already had one dog, Lola, and a cat, Sprinkles, prior to getting Newman and they seem to be getting along well.  At first Lola was territorial telling Newman that this was her house and that we are her people, but now, hew and Newman are getting along and playing together and she is learning to share.  Sprinkles and Newman are even getting along, too!  Strangely enough, they play together and gentle wrestle.
Newman has had a few accidents in the house, but we are working with him and he has improved.  He does sleep through the night with Lola and does not have accidents or need to go out overnight.  He also needs to work on coming when he is called, but Lola also has been a good teacher for him here, too.  We work with him everyday and we can see an improvement.
Newman is still taking medication for his puppy mange everyday, but it is looking great and he should be off of it soon.  He is still missing some fur on one of his back feet, but the fur on his face and ears has come back great!  He is such a handsome pup.
He is such a love bug and has been a great addition to our family.  We love him and so do our other pets.

5/20/10 - Newman has been adopted!

4/18/10 -
Hello everyone, let me introduce myself.  My name is Newman.  I arrived at my foster home yesterday 4/17.  Boy what a change this has been for me.  I am used to being in a crate for most of the day and no other dogs or cats. Well, I have my own puppy to play with here.  We are already best buds.  Although he is double my size, we are about the same age.  His name is Hendrix.  There is another older dog here named Tyson.  He seems okay.  He looks at me with the"Oh great, not another puppy" look.  I just lick him and he walks away lol.  I play all day now.  I just cannot get enough.  I was so tuckered out last night that my FM said "crate" and I went right in a fell asleep.  She was very happy that I slept all night.  I love my chew toys and I share them very well.  Me and Hendrix like to play tug of war with my rope toy.  FM keeps calling me a good boy.  I really like to hear that.  I am very happy here.  I have not had any accidents in the house.  I love to play with all the little skin kids too.  They like when I chase them around the house.  We all laugh
and laugh and laugh.  I know I have only been here one day, but I absolutely LOVE it.  I sniff the kitties and they spit in my face.  Oh well, who needs dumb old cats anyway.  I have my puppy to play with.
I am currently taking medication for demodectic mange.  This is NOT contagious.  Once I am all cleared up, I will be going in the see the Veterinarian to be neutered.  After that, I will be looking forward to going to my forever home.

From FM - Newman is just a sweet little snuggle bug.  What a playful energetic puppy.  He has fit in perfect in our home and we are very happy to be able to help him.  He will make the most amazing family member for is new home.  We have had no issues with him.  I am working with him on the leash as he does tug a bit.  I will keep everyone posted on how his condition.  Pictures to come soon, once I can get him to settle down a little for a photo shoot.
*Note- Because I'm a puppy, I'll need someone is home most of the time- stay-home, work at home, retired.
