| 8/21/10 - Roses are red,
Violets are blue, Lady and Isaiah Left together as two. Kate and Evan were amazing, Their search is now complete They are the answer to a little girls wish, And it all came together for eight boxer feet. 8/7/2010 - Both Lady and Issiah were part of a very emotional family surrender due to a major health problem. It is quite apparent that both of these dogs have been VERY well taken care both physically and emotionally with no latent problems or hidden special needs EXCEPT.............to be loved. It would bring great joy to many if these two could be adopted together. As a testimonial, I too was of the naysayer group when having TWO dogs was mentioned. My response was always "are you nuts or what?" Then 19 years ago, 2 weeks after my son was born, I went out one day to get "just ONE dog" and returned with not one but two 3 month old boxer puppies. The only excuse I could offer my husband was that it "was hormones" that made me do it. I would never go back to having just one dog again. The pair will nurture each other, play with each other, sleep together and exercise each other. Lady and Issiah are like two peas in a pod with a closeness and a truly animated relationship that will repeatedly affirm your decision to adopt both. Lady reminds me of the energizer bunny that has brindle fur. She is the instigator for most of the play time and call her name once and she is by your side in a heart beat. She too has passed the no boxer drooly bubbles test, no covert acts of counter surfing or trash can raiding, no chewing on extranouous items such as cell phones, glasses or shoes. The only thing I could think of that might be questionable is that with kids under 4 she might be a bit rambunctious but 6 months from now that will not be a problem. She will be getting spayed this friday and after that will be free to be adopted. |
