| UPDATE 7/8/11 - Kobe is excellent with the kids, 5 and 3. They really give him a run for his money. Very active kids. Kobe has a great personality when it comes to the kids. Goes with the flow. He is still having some accidents in the house...don't know if he gets excited or just too much going on with the kids. We are working on that. Otherwise no complaints, we love him very much and don't know what we would do without him. He is great. UPDATE 12/11/10 - Kobe has been with us for 2 months now. He is a very welcome addition to the family. He is doing very well in obedience classes....very intelligent and a quick learner. We are all looking forward to christmas together. UPDATE 11/12/10 - Kobe has been a wonderful addition to our family. He is picking up things very nicely in his obedience classes. He is a very lovable, loyal dog. My children are just giving him lots of love and exercise, which he loves. UPDATE 10/13/10 - Kobe is doing wonderful. He has already adjusted to his new home. He is very well behaved with the kids, 4 and 2. They are playing and loving him til he passes out at night and that's not easy because he has lots of energy. He listens very well and is very lovable. We are all so happy. 10/6/10 - I was adopted today! 9/27/10 - With a leap and a bound and plenty of boxer kisses Kobe is here!!!!! Omg he is soooo funny!! He is a very tall boy and runs like a deer, kinda bounces along. He is full of energy that is for sure. He and Lina (resident female) play for hours, they really tire eachother out. He has settled in a little more the day. He still seems kinda lost but He will be fine. He listens very well, goes in his crate with out a hitch. We went for a nice hour walk on Sunday and he did great. I put a harness on him and never pulled once. He is very, very strong. We walk past a GS named Diesel who barks his head off as we pass and he did pull some to try to investigate, But listens well to correction. He is a good boy, And will make some one a great pal. He is very handsome and his coat is nice and shiney. I will get some pic up soon. He is still a wiggle worm at the moment. So get those apps in he wont be around long. 9/25/10 - The little man comes to us from a family who loved him but thought that he needed more time and attention than their busy family could give him. They didn't think it was fair that this "tween" boxer boy spending all the time in his crate that they required. The family reports that he's been through obedience training, but they couldn't spend enough time to continue reinforcement training. Kobe lived with 2 children under age 4. He didn't live with dogs or cats, but the family reports he's good with other dogs. They don't know about cats. They also report that he's full of energy, loves attention and loves being with his people. When his foster family gets to know him, they'll tell you all about him. |
