Violets are blue, Lady and Isaiah Left together as two. Kate and Evan were amazing, Their search is now complete They are the answer to a little girls wish, And it all came together for eight boxer feet. 8/7/2010 - When my family heard that I was going to foster two more boxers, they wanted to put me in a 72 hour hold admission in a psych hospital but quickly realized one of THEM would have to take care of 4 boxers. Needless to say that thought went right out the window when I brought home the two perfect examples of 18 month old boxers. Isaiah and Lady are the benchmark for this breed that all of us have such great affection for. Both dogs have the classic boxer attitude of being playful, loving, inquisitive, and powerful with the instinctive knowledge when to be gentle. Isaiah is a like a Mac truck with no metal or sharpe edges but responds to voice commands very well when needed. He is a dark brindle with very distinctive stripes, paws that could be used to play tennis and a face that is all black and beautiful. His temperment is very low keyed even when my female is in his face he just turns his big head away and comes across with this attitude of "no matter what you say lady I'm not going to get into it with you" He appears to be housebroken, is not a chewer, a drooler, or a counter surfer. He sleeps right next to Lady, plays tug with any one who wants to engage "the hulk". The rapport between these 2 dogs at times is magical to say the least and comical enough to sell tickets for the event. If it is possible, it would be an incredibly smart move to adopt both Isaiah and Lady. They are just like peas and carrots together and balance each other with temperment and physical activity and a closeness that would be a real shame to break up. |
