| UPDATE 8/24/10 - Hi everyone, just a quick update on my wonderful family... finally Dozer has decided to love to play with me, it took him a while, but now all we do is play tug of war and box together, it's so great, and as for my mommy, aaaw boy do i love her, she's so much fun to cuddle with and loves to take us to the park, and i've met so many other boxers just like me! Well, off again to nap b/c Dozer and I just wore each other out, ttyl... UPDATE 7/23/10 - Hey all, it's Kota!! Wow, another month flew by w/ my new Mom, Dad and brother! Doggie classes are going ok, they aren't my favorite thing to do, but the car ride there and back is way fun!!! Mommy says I'm a good girl, as long as I stay out of the trash in the bathroom, stay away from her shoes and start sharing toys w/ Dozer and stop stealing his cookies!! What can I say, I'm a pretty little devil at times, but Mommy still adores me!!! And the best part of the day is when Mommy comes home from work, and we go for walks, play, eat, (and i DO get spoiled, a little meat and chicken here n there) and then its cuddle time... and let me tell you, her bed is SO much more comftier than that metal boxy thing, loll!! UPDATE 6/11/10 - Hi all, it's Cody girl, and boy, what an awesome month it's been w/ my new furever home!!! It took me a while to get adjusted to the new surroundings, people, mom & dad, and of course, my new fur bro, Dozer, and he's so handsome too! I've been spoiled since the second I jumped in their car the night they came to get me!! Toys are just everywhere, and mom is always giving us treats, and those yummy rawhide bones, except she doesn't like when I try to steal Dozer's! Memorial day, me and Dozer had a mini-vaca at the pet resort in town, and ooooh, i love them their too, they took us hiking, and we got pedicures and baths and met alot of playmates! Mom says we are going to school on Monday, can't wait to see what that's all about?? Well, I have to get back to my nap, but you'll hear from me again soon... UPDATE 5/14/10 - Well Dakota has settled in just fine, and has taken a liking to her new fur brother, Dozer, and he's still adjusting as well, but I see bonding defintitely in the future!! They play well until Dozer lets her know he's had enough with a little yelping, lol, and she does just fine amusing herself! She listens well, and has had no accidents in the house. She's getting the hang of our cable run when doing business, and still learning to leash walk w/out pulling, oh and she's so spoiled already, even sleeping in bed, all 4 of us!! Dakota has met all her human grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles, and they all adore her!! Taking her to the dog park tomorrow, more to follow in the weeks to come... 5/8/10 - Dakota has been adopted! 4/26/10 - Dakota came in on Sat a owner surrender. She was all boxer wiggles and Kisses, I mean alot of kisses, she kissed me the whole ride home. She was a little scared but very willing to trust me. She rode great in the car. We went for a walk shortly after we got home, I walk with a harness, She did a great job, she liked to sniff around and we even met some people along the way who wanted to pet her. She loved it all wiggles. She met the dogs here with out a hitch (I think Cooper loves her) I gave her a bath and found several ticks on her(eww) But I got them all and she was a happy camper. She is so soft and shiney, very gentle. She met the boys on Sunday and she was fearful at first, but they fed her treats and told her she was a good girl, petted her and then she fell in love, kisses and wiggles. I looked in the living room and she was laying on the couch with them. She plays hard with Lina they have turned my living room into the Daytona 500, But they tire eachother out so thats fine by me. She is crate trained and house trained. She fit right in here. Aidan my 6year old asked me this morning if we could just keep her, UH OH. So Dakota or Coty girl as i call her is settleing in well and im sure will do just fine,Ill update more later. |
