| UPDATE 1/24/11 - I'm a little off schedule with my updates for Coco; better late than never! Coco is a very sweet lady. She had a very nice Christmas. She would open one toy, run around the living room play with it in her mouth, we would open a second and "squeak" it, she would drop the first and run over to grab the new toy and run around the living room with that one in her mouth. We had more fun watching her play with all her toys...
Coco is still working with a private trainer. They met with Ernie, my parents Golden. The trainer thinks she was not socialized properly and becomes overly excited when she gets around other dogs. We have some strategies and hopefully they'll be playing together (or tolerating each other) by spring. Our little Puffy as we like to call her, does not like the snow...at all. And with the nearly two feet on the ground and another foot predicted for later this week, she's not going to be too happy. Luckily, she has a nice monogrammed jacket to keep her warm and Brian snow blows part of the back yard for her so she can go out. UPDATE 10/18/10 - Coco is making herself right at home! She has her favorite spot on the couch and on the chair and on occasion shares the couch with Toby. We just got a really cute picture of them laying, spooning really, on the floor in the sun. I wish I could attach a pic, because it's very cute. Coco had her 1st individual training session this past weekend. Because of some aggresion towrds other dogs she comes, across the trainer thought it would be a better way to start. She's a quick learner and already has the "watch" command down pretty solid. Smartie, plus she'll do just about anything for a cookie! She's a big snuggler too! She loves to curl up in right next to you. With chilly night upon us, she's keeps you nice and toasty. That's a quick snapshot of little Coco puff... 9/26/10 - I was adopted today! 8/30/10 - What can I say about shimmy shimmy Coco puff? Well let see. She is very funny, every morning when we get up, after sitting with me in the bathroom while I get ready for work, she spins around and around like a helocopter chasing her tail. It's just her way of waking up. She loves to sit with me in the recliner and snuggle, she gives lots of boxer kisses. She is a very sweet girl. She loves ginger snaps, those are her favorite treat. When she goes out to do her busuness shr sits right in front of the treat jar and patiently waits for her cookie. I call her my little cookie monster. She gets along great with my male who is very submissive, But my female and her have their moments. I'd say a love/hate relationship. Sometimes they get along and other times not so much. but she is doing great and gaining a little weight. She loves to go for walks, as soon as I get out her harness and say"Coco puff want to go for a walk?" She spins aroud and jumps in tha air. She is a very good girl and never gives me any trouble. So if you are looking for a sweet girl who would do well by her self or with a nice boy friend, Coco is your girl. 7/26/10 - Just a quick update on this sweetheart. She was to the vet and is all set. All up todate and no UTI. She is the sweetest most gentle girl ever! We even had a break through last night. Her and Lina (resident female) Started to play. YA!! That is a big deal around here. She is the easiest dog, she dosent bother a thing and just loves to be with someone. We didnt do much on Sat, it was too hot so we sat on the couch and watched tv. I had 3 dogs on me and one on the floor. She cuddled up and took a nap. We just love her here she is a good girl. 7/19/10 - I picked up Coco on Sat from the shelter. She was very happy to get out of there. She is the sweetest little lady and so friendly. I gave her a couple biscuts and she slept the ride home. She hung out in her crate for a while adjusting to her new suroundings. She and Cooper were fast friends but not so much yet with the rest of the gang. So we will be working on that. She had a nice bath to wash off the shelter funk and she loved it. She has some boo boos that need some tlc, but will be fine in time. We went for a little walk on sunday evening and she was a perfect girl. No pulling, just walked along great. She follows me around and is very calm and quite. I even let her sleep up on the dog bed last night, I think she got up once to check things out then slept the rest of the night. So far she is a dream foster. No problems what so ever. I really like her alot. Im going to get some pics of her later so you can see how pretty she is. |
