UPDATE 4/14/10 - Fenway is a great addition to our family! He slept the entire 7.5 hour ride home...on my lap! I had to wake him for pit stops and when that was over he'd be right back to sleep. He loves to play (typical Boxer!) but he does tend to 'irritate' the 2 Doxie's we have which are a bit older and have no idea what this bundle of energy is! He is learning his place in the family/pack. He's slowly learning house breaking, and most of the oops have been a human's mistake. He still has diarrhea but it's slowly clearing up. He sleeps through the night, has become crate trained, and definitely loved by all. We went to PetSmart to get a few more chewy toys and a Boston Red Sox bandana...it took us almost 2 hours to get out of the store!! Everyone had to give him some love and I sang the praises of SCBR every chance I got. Thanks SCBR, looks like you helped me find another perfect Boxer for my family! 4/10 - bourke has been adopted! 3/25/10 - The famous labels have arrived! Bourke is such a sweet boy! Oh my gosh he is going to need a firm owner as his sweet little face, pink nose with black spots and soulful eyes have the tendency to turn people into mush! One look from him makes you want to give into his demands and puppy antics! He is a really easy keeper. He just kind of goes with the flow. Bourke was also given a clean bill of health and just needed to be dewormed. 3/19/10 - Bourke and his brothers and sisters came into rescue last week after their full blood boxer mom and dad had an unwanted litter and the owners gave them up to rescue in Ohio. They're happy puppies who are getting the care they need... and have a great foster mom to clean up after them! More soon! |
