UPDATE 9/5/10 - Abby, Abby, Abby - what can we say?  She is the "puppy" of our group of 4.  She loves to romp and frolic in the yard (on her runner, of course) and chases the other 3 dogs when she can reach them!  She is the first to the door when we come home and wants all the attention.  She is a little love and has the cutest personality - "enough about me; let's talk about me"!  She eats well and looks great.  We couldn't ask for more.

UPDATE 8/2/10 - Gotta love her!  She's always on the go - the first one to jump up and greet us when we come in the door and then she wants to play.  She's eating well and has gained a couple of pounds.  Her coat is so shiny and soft, and she looks great!  We love having her here and think she feels the same.

UPDATE 7/3/10 - Abby is settling in well.  She has decided she wants to sleep on the pillow in the dog bedroom rather than a crate, so that's what she does!  She sleeps very comfortably with her brother and sister next to their pillows, and we don't hear a peep from anyone (only an occasional snort or snore from one of the other dogs!).  She continues to eat well and has a great shape on her - no fat on her.  Loving having her here in our home!

UPDATE 6/26/10  - Abby is a super sweet love bug - she just wants to snuggle with everyone.  She's energetic and chases the ball or the bone, then she jumps up with us and plops herself down on the couch to relax. She so much reminds us of our Maddie when she was younger - although Maddie still will occasionally have the same amount of stamina as the others!

UPDATE 6/19/10 -   Abby is just a little love.  She dances circles around the other dogs - you would never know she is 7!  She's eating well and we've had no accidents with her.  She loves her brothers and sister, but especially she loves the humans in the house - she runs right over and wants to make sure everyone notices her.  When someone comes to the door, she is the first dog to bark and run over - she's the big bad Boxer, until they enter and then her tail is going a mile a minute!

UPDATE 6/12/10 -   Abby is doing well fitting into the Linehan clan.  She's used to 3 other dogs in the household so I believe that's what made the transition easier.  She's eating her two meals a day and looks like she may be starting to fill in a little.  We make sure the others don't get into her dish (although I don't think she would let them!) and she's doing well.  She likes to sleep on the pillow in the dogs bedroom and is usually the last to fall asleep.  She loves, loves, loves to sleep on the couch with us when we are watching TV.  Did I tell you all she loves it?  She is definitely an indoor dog like Wendy has said to us.  But she will go on walks around the yard as long as she knows the others will be going with her.  She has the softest coat on her and loves to be rubbed and patted.  She's very playful - chasing the ball down our long hallway and bringing it back for more!  I think she may have Energizer batteries in her system...

Will let you know more next week.

6/5/10 - I was adopted today!

5/26/10 -
Abby has been here since February she is such a good dog. She knows the routine cage at night morning potty break then breakfast. All the dogs know the hand sign of sit and they do it to wait for their morning breakfast. She is the last one who gets her bowl but, she calmly waits for it. She loves to play outside with the other dogs and is great with children also. Yes she will bark if someone knocks at the door to let you know but, licks the person to death if you let them in. She loves to walk on the leash still pulling a little but, much better since the first time. She would make a perfect companion or family dog. Please call she loves it here but, would like a forever home. I have no issues with Abby obedient and great with other dogs.

4/26/10 -
So I have been here in my foster home since February and you know what they did? They brought in a new foster who has more energy that the battery bunny!! He thought that he was gonna out-run me- HA HA- I got him. I still have a lot of energy to play also. This weekend we had a cookout and there were so many kids to play with! We got to clean up the kids' spots with the food they dropped. Yum yum, hot dogs. We played soccer and baseball. Yeah, we took it away from the kids when they dropped the ball but they had fun chasing us to get it back.
Please, new permanent home, come rescue me from all this energy. I get tired and want to sleep, but these young ones keep making me play until bed time. I am lovable and I also love to snuggle. I sit with my foster mom and she pets me until the others notice and try to grab all the attention. I am also real good with kids, so if you like me, call and I will come running. I am good at that now.

3/21/10 -
Hi everyone it is me Abby again. I am loving my foster home. I have a big yard that I can run and play in and other dogs that keep me healthy by making me run after them. I am 7 but, I am keeping up with that 2 year old. He thinks that he can out run me but, I show him. The kids here are great too. They taught me how to play base ball. They hit the ball and I run after it. Great game. I also like that sport they call Soccer. I can not get that ball in my mouth but, I try. Me and the 2 year old just nudge it around the yard. Ive gained a little weight what is good I was sort of on the slim side. I do love my foster family but, I really want a permanent family so please adopt me.

- Hi Every one my name is Abby. I arrived at my new foster home with my other partner Sasha about a week ago. I am settling in real good with my foster family and their dogs. I am about 6 or 7 give or take but, I run around like a 2 year old. I would like to find a  home where me and Sasha can be together but, we have two different personalities and I will take any loving family that wants me. I like children, they play with me everyday here and I do not even bother those furry things that are call cats. If Anyone is interested please let me know. I will promise to love you.
