| UPDATE 5/22/10 - It's been a year since we brought Shakes home and he is doing just great. He is such a good dog! He has one pale blue eye. He's healthy and happy-loves going for rides and playing in the yard. Hates the vacumn cleaner and black colored toys. We're very happy he's part of our family. UPDATE 11/22/09 - Shakes (Wilbur) is doing very well. He came through neutering just fine. The loose poops came back so we had to adjust his food again-but that problem seems to be solved with "A TASTE OF THE WILD" brand food in "pacific stream" flavor. He gives us some backtalk at times but other than that has done well with his obedience training. He's full of personality and energy and love. Thanks again to SCBR! Shakes is a sweet addition to our family!! UPDATE 7/22/09 - Greetings from Shakes! Shakes is doing really well (the loose poops are gone-yay!). His obedience training is coming along but we are trying to break him from jumping on me when I get home. Under his fur his pigment has lots of black spots!! He still loves to lay on the couch-but now he can jump up himself....and it's a good thing as he is a whopping 30 pounds! Last weekend we took a drive to Newport, RI-and Scott took him into the surf...he seemed a little scared but Daddy held him tight so he had a great time. We liked the scenery but He likes it better when we take him for a play date at his favorite pet shop and he gets to wrestle with his buddies. UPDATE 6/23/09 - Shakes is doing great-he had a little problem w diarrhea at first-and had us really worried but is doing much better now after a change of food. He is already over 17 pounds. He had his first puppy training session yesterday and knows a few commands. He loves to cuddle on the couch with me and watch the Red Sox(we think he kind of looks like Kevin Youkilis). He likes going for rides-but freaks out if we go to the drive thru! He does great in the crate and is asking for the door- which is a blessing. He is just so cute-and getting cuter. 5/23/09 - Wilbur has been adopted! HI! I'M WILBUR!! I WAS BORN SECOND! I am completely all white, but for some black spots on my nose and black eyeliner. I think I may be getting some spots, but I can't see back there. I'll have to let you know. I already have people waiting 'til I get bigger to take me home. They're going to love me forever! ...no matter what trouble I get myself into.... 3/27/09- CHLOE HAS HAD HER PUPPIES! Cassius is the proud papa. |
