| 6/14/09 - Sebbie went to his forever home today! 4/20/09 - Sebastian is such a good boy and a carefree spirit. He has been doing excellently, with some health concerns which have turned out positive. I had his teeth cleaned at the vet due to some gum overgrowth and seriously offensive mouth odor. The good news is the cleaning went well, but the odor came back shortly after. Sebastian is unaware of his halitosis and gives sweet boxer kisses to no end. I noticed a growth on his prepuce and the vet gave me some lotion to put on it. That went away, no problem! Sebastian has a clean bill of health! I'm so happy to hear this because he still is such a vivid and a young pup at heart. He loves to go for walks and rides in the car. He plays outside with the other dogs fine although he is not the biggest fan of my bossy female. He has gotten a little snippy when another dog or person comes near him when he is getting love and attention from a favorite person. He has never bit anything, but it is something that I have to be careful about with him. His 8th birthday is coming up soon and he wishes for a family of his own!!!!! 2/9/09 - Sebastian is a sweet dog and remains a well-behaved foster dog. He gets along with all the dogs here and every person that he has met. He ismore of an easygoing dog & does not enjoy a lot of rough play which tends to go on at my house. He tolerates a lot, but does get annoyed and will react after a while. He went to the vet the other day and is now up to date on all of his vaccinations. He had a lump in his neck checked out and the veterinarian poked it with a needle. It appears to be a blocked oil duct - Great news! He was very curious and active at the vet office. Sebastian is surprisingly active and full of vigor. It is hard to believe that he will be 8 years old this Spring. He acts like a young adult dog running through snow and jumping airborne up and down when I return home from work. 1/18/09 - Sebastian Alowicius - AKA: Sebass, is a super sweet Boxer boy who found his way here thanks to a concerned animal lover. His story is rather complicated, but to sum it up he has had two owners & was being mistreated by a "friend" of the last owner. Thankfully, he was taken out of this situation by another friend (does that count as owner #3?!) and then surrendered to rescue as he was dog # 3 or 4 in that house and was not liked by the kitties. He had to be kept in a bedroom most of the day & did not like that. He scratched at the door trying to escape. Sebass appears to get along fine with other dogs, big & small. He is housetrained and knows some basic commands. Loves to by your side in typical Boxer fashion. Although he has had a rough time in the past, he hasn't lost his faith in people & still demonstrates his wiggle & rapid-fire nub wag. He is looking for a special family that will welcome them into their home & love him forever. He hasn't given up hope yet that those people do exist. |
