| 4/8/09 - Our Sandi girl went to her forever home tonite! They are wonderful and she will have a boxer brother to play with and two kids , so she will be very happy. 3/27/09 - Hi out there, its me Sandi! I’m here in PA waiting for my forever home. My foster mommy says I can stay here as long as I need to. She says I’m a great houseguest! There is a little boy that lives here that I just love, I can’t get enough of him and his hugs and kisses! My favorite thing to do is lay around or be on someone’s lap and be petted and I love those belly rubs!! My foster mom has been brushing my teeth,( she said I have bad breath) I think Its getting better. My ears are all better too. They were really itchy. I’m loving life here. I’ve also bonded with the little Shi tzu who lives here. We play alot. (we didnt like each other at first) My friend Lina, she’s a boxer like me, we like to play in the yard with the ball, we run fast. I’m settling in well here I even wiggle my nubby, and I didnt do that at first. I think ill go take a nap now. Love, Sandi 3/16/09 - What a beautiful weekend here in PA. We were able to get outside w/out freezing or getting wet. Sandi is so great. We went for a nice walk and met alot of our neighbors. She loved everyone we came across. We met a black lab, a bunch of pappillons and a big doberman. She walked great on the leash, no trouble at all. She has met my mom and some other family members, every one loves how calm and sweet she is. Who can resist that beautiful face? She just wants someone to love her and find her forever home. Most of the time you dont even know she's here. She had a great time running and playing with my dogs this weekend. All I can say is what a great gal! 3/10/09 - SANDI ARRIVED HERE ON SAT. AFTER A 2HOUR DRIVE. SHE DID GREAT. SHE IS STILL GETTING USED TO THE PLACE. LOVES THE BOYS AND THEY TOTALLY LOVE HER. SHES VERY CALM AND LIKES TO LAY AT MY FEET WHERE EVER I AM. SHES HAD A BATH AND REALLY ENJOYED IT. HER EARS ARE DIRTY AND SHE SHAKES HER HEAD A LOT, BUT IM WORKING ON THEM AND SHE DOESENT MIND A BIT. SHE STAYS IN HER CRATE AT NIGHT AND WHILE IM AT WORK. SHES NOT A FAN BUT GIVES ME NO TROUBLE GETTING IN. I HAVE A LITTLE SHI TZU AND THEY WERE NOT FAST FRIENDS, BUT I AM PLEASED TO SAY ITS GETTING MUCH BETTER. MY BOXER GAL LINA JUST WANTS TO PLAY WITH HER BUT SANDI ISNT THAT INTERESTED, SHE WOULD RATHER LAY AROUND. ALL IN ALL SHE IS A TERRIFIC HOUSE GUEST. GET YOUR APPLICATIONS IN FAST ON THIS SWEET GIRL SHE WONT BE HERE LONG. STAY TUNED FOR MORE UPDATES 3/9/09 - What a wild weekend. We got Sandi home Saturday afternoon. WHAT A GREAT GAL! She traveled the 2 hour drive like a champ. She is so friendly and just a love bug. Gets along great with my boxer, but still working on the little dog. They did start to play this morning. I have 5 and 9 year-old kids and she loves them. She does pull on the leash, but that's getting better too. She was on a raw diet, but we changed that, and Sshe ate the dry food with no problem. I have given her some denta-bones because she has bad bad breath. Other than that, she is so great! She's very calm and likes to lay around. She will make someone a wonderful dog! |
