| UPDATE 11/23/09 - Hello everyone out there! Roscoe is settling in very well! My family loves him and he love to go to the dog park and race around with all the other dogs! I love watching him trying to catch a retired Grayhound dog! what a race!! Roscoe keeps trying and trying!
One thing is hard to do, is trying to get some weight on! When he first went to the vets he weighted 66 lbs and we can see his backbone and ribs. But with open feeding and trying to get him to eat 2000 kcals a day at least but with him running at the dog park almost everyday he has only gained 3 lbs. over the weekend Roscoe started to develop a cough that would not go away and the vet thinks its kennel cough, so he is on abx for two weeks at least and isolated from the dog park and other dogs for the next few weeks :( So I might have a chance to get some weight on! we will see. Happy Thanksgiving, From Roscoe and his Human ;) 11/3/09 - Roscoe has been adopted! 10/24/2009 - Roscoe has just joined us for a short stay. He is a love bug who folds himslef in half when you pet him. As soon as he saw my kids, 5 and 3, he went crazy with wiggles! So far he doesn't seem too interested in my dog but we'll give him time to settle in. For now he is resting in his new house. I'll send in more as I get to know him |
