UPDATE 4/19/10 - Hi Rocky here!!!
Well, Coco and I are still the best of friends, and just can't get enough play time together. I'm 82 lbs now, and healthy as a horse my mom says. I have developed one little problem, and that is a little growth between two of my toes. So Mom and Dad say I have to go visit my Uncle Vinnie as they call him. He my vet and a great guy. Coco goes there too. I'm happy that the snow is gone and we can go out and play ball lots and lots of ball. I also get to go up to visit my friend Zeke, he's bigger than me even. We play and run and play and run till Zeke gets tired, because he's older than me. Had my first doggie sundae this weekend. Mom says we can't have that stuff very often, but what a nice treat it was and Coco went riding too so she got to have her first one ever!!!! Well everyone that's all for now. Mom says she'll post another update after my vet appt. next week. Bye for now Rocky III UPDATE 12/22/09 - Merry Christmas everyone my mom told me to say that. School finished on Sunday 12/19/09 and I passed with flying colors. I had quite the time strutting my stuff in front of the others who didn't listen as well. So now my mom has my diploma hanging in the kitchen and she'll be sending a copy into SCBR so you can be proud of me also. My new playmate Coco got her first hair cut on the 14th. They put this really silly bow in her hair. HEHE guess what I took it out right away. So then this weekend my mom put it back into her hair to take her picture. I held myself back for 30 seconds, and then took it out again. Coco and I had a really great time with one of the ornaments on this thing they call a Christmas tree. Coco pulled it down and then we played tug of war with it while my grandparents weren't in the room. HMMMMMMMMM guess there's a reason why mom put all the really nice ones at the top. Life is so good, my humans taking me riding all the time, give me constant love and now since coco keeps my human grammy up she gets to sleep upstairs in our room now with me so I can help her stay calm and be quiet at night as my grammy is very old. Well Happy Holidays everyone I hope Santa will bring me some more nice new toys for xmas as I've been a really good boy. UPDATE 12/6/09 - Today Rocky went to his fourth week of obedience. He is a scholar student, and also got some play time with a large lab that's in his class. He continues to be a wonderful member of the family and is so very good with Coco it's amazing. What a wonderful time we had watching them play in our first real snow of the season. They both love the snow and didn't want to come in they were having so much fun. Rocky has no agressions at all, and even gets along very well with the cat now. Can't wait to see how he reacts to my Tigger and other moving animated pieces that go under the xmas tree that will go up this week. UPDATE 11/20/09 - Rocky is doing wonderful. He's in school now and has a new play mate by the name of Coco. A 15 week old Chocolate Shih Tzu as my parents little poodle died. They are quite the team. She rules the roost and it's so funny to see this 82 lb dog, yes 82 lbs from 64 when we picked him up. He is beautiful, shiny and healthy as a horse. He's the best boy ever and we are so happy Julie pushed us to take a look at him. We still miss Sassie every day, but we love him more than anything. He's great with all other dogs, and people. It is hilarious to watch this great big dog play with a little ball of fur and he's so very gentle with her. Obedience training started last weekend, and this week he goes along. He has a special friend named Zeke who he plays with quite often. Zeke belongs to a friend of ours and they just hit it right off. Zeke is a little taller than Rocky, but a little older and they just run and play and run and play. One funny thing about this big guy is that he doesn't like the rain true Whimp. More to come. 7/25/09 - Rocky went to his new home on Saturday the 25th of this month. He seemed happy and is going to a great loving family. 7/10/09 - Rocky had his neuter yesterday. He is doing great and settling down. He is getting more confident around people and seems to be getting better at wanting to go places. He is still shy but, when he gets to know you he comes out of his shell. He loves the little one in the home. When he gets here in the afternoon Rocky and him are inseparable for the 2 or 3 hours he is here. He even lets the little boy sleep and sit on him. It is not recommended but, he lets you do just about anything. He has a great attitude and patients when it comes to kids. The kitty's he is still curious. He sometimes does not bother them and other times he wants to play and we know that cats do not play fair. Rocky would be a great family member to anyone. 7/1/09 - I am house trained no accidents. I do walk on a leash with great pride now. We worked on that everyday and now I am almost a professional. The fuzzy things well, I have learned that if I do not bother them. They do not bother me. I am just wonderful with children under the age of 4. My foster mommy watches a little boy who is 1.5 years old. Please update me. I am also going back to that nice Doctor in a week. I guess she has a surprise for me (neuter) 6/28/09 - Hi my name is Rocky. I am a bigger, goofy boxer boy. I am 9 months and love to play with my foster brother and sister. I also love to play ball. I even bring it back and drop it for you. I came to my foster home on Friday the 26th of June. I got along right away with my foster brother and sister. Just to let you know I like my brother better. I tried to play with the fuzzy animals that jump up on things but, they just hissed and growled when I was jumping around. I do not understand. So I guess I do not play well with cats right now or should I say they do not play well with me. I just wanted to have some fun. Anyways, I love to play outside and run. I have not and any accidents in my new home and I am just lovable even with that little boy who is 1.5 years old that my foster mom watches in the afternoon. I like him because he feeds us dogs his crackers. So if you think I am the right puppy for your home please call. I would love to come and play. |
