| UPDATE 1/6/10 - The puppies are just great! We can't believe that in 4 weeks, Fleckie (white female pup) has gone from 10 to 21 pounds whereas her brother Nick (little black male pup) is following behind at 17 pounds (from 8). At our vet check this week, everyone was impressed with how great their personalities and temperaments are... as well as how darn cute they are together! Although Fleckie can be a bit more excited at times, both pups are wonderful with all of the kids, and the entire family has really bonded with them. Fleckie is a terrific listener... even though she gets into trouble, she definitely knows what she is doing and can be re-directed most of the time :). It's funny because even in puppy class (boy do we get lots of oohs and aahhs from folks), Nick looks to her for training cues. He is more nonchalant... happy to hang out by himself and snuggle other times whereas Fleckie gets upset if she is not with her humans. Potty training is coming
along... with 2, you can imagine double the potty training fun! And the Christmas tree never had a chance for this year... we'll see what happens next year... 11/24/09 - The puppies arrived on Sunday and are very active and healthy. Such cute little babies. They each have a personality. So cute. Pup 1 is the quietest of all the pups. She just hangs out. So cute. The little puppies would fit perfect in a stocking????? Put a pretty red or green bow on them and "ho ho ho". Make this the best Holiday ever. Bring home your forever friend. |
