| UPDATE 7/29/09 - Princess has adjusted well to her knew home. She loves playing with Wilson. We call her our grunt grunt girl as the bulldog part of her makes grunting sounds. Somewhere along the line she was taught to “smile”. We ask her to smile and she shows her teeth, it is the cutest thing. We were told she was somewhere around 3-5 years old but she has the energy of a puppy! UPDATE 7/6/09 - Princess has adjusted well to her knew home. She loves playing with Wilson. UPDATE 4/20/09 - I picked up Princess on Saturday. She was really good for the 2 hour ride home. She has a great disposition. She listens really well and knows her commands. Such a wiggle butt! Wilson and Princess are getting along great. Princess loves playing with him. She loves everyone she meets. She fits in so well it is like we have had her forever. I also have cats in the house and I don't think Pricess has seen one before. She was funny at how she looked at them. She just gave them a sniff and didn't chase after them. She is like a puppy as she follows you everywhere you go. She is the most loveable dog anyone could ask for. 4/18/09 - Princess went home to her new boxer brother who was also adopted through SCBR, Wilson. They look alike except Wilson is pure boxer and Princess in bulldog/boxer. She will have a wonderful life. 4/9/09 - Beautiful Princess has arrived. She is so cute!! Everyone that sees her say they have never seen a boxer/bulldog look like that. Many say she looks like a gremlin, lol. She has a short stalky body of the english bulldog and face of a boxer and I say ears of the french bulldog. She has a bunny tail, not a stub. She is so affectionate with everyone or anything she sees. She loves people, animals, kids, etc. She squats downs when approached and rolls over immediately for the belly rub. She is definately not shy. She will go to and with anyone. She runs, rolls and hops (like a bunny)---maybe she is part bunny, lol. She is very entertaining to watch, she makes everyone laugh. She eats well and sleeps well. She has run of the house when we are gone to work. She plays with balls. She pulls on a leash but I found out if I don't hold the leash, she stays right next to me anyways. She listens well. Oh yea, she farts like a human, lol. |
