| UPDATE 12/8/09 - Hi everyone. It's Pheobe. Just wanted to let you know how I am doing. I have been too busy between work(day care)and obedience school to send an update. I have learned a lot in my classes. I know the basics...sit, wait, paw. My mom makes me learn tough ones too like leave it, stay, stand and come. I just started a new class that is really fun. I am learning tricks. My first two tricks are roll over and spin. You better believe I am good at spin. I am a boxer. I live with these two things called cats. I try to play with them but they play funny. They make this growling sound and slap me. I don't really like that game but it doesn't keep me from trying. I have to tell you the house has been a little bit empty lately. My mom hasn't been bringing strange dogs (fosters) to live with us. I miss curling up with them on my bed. Hopefully soon. Can you believe that windstorm we had the other day? I was very afraid on the wind and jumped into my mom's arms so she could h old me like a baby. I wasn't letting her put me down until we were safely in the house. I am a petite girl and did not want to blow away. Well that's it for now. UPDATE 6/1/09 - Pheobe is a wonderful addition to my family. Everyone that meets her is in love with her. She had a busy Memorial Day. She went to her first parade and was intrigued by the people and dogs. She did not like the drums in the marching bands though. She spent the rest of the day hanging out with family and friends at a cookout and was wonderful. She played with 2 small dogs there and was great with all the people including children. She finally conked out on my lap and had a nice long nap. She has learned sit, paw, other paw, down and is working hard on stay and come. She even rings the bell when she has to go out. She officially begins obedience training on June 17th. She has met my 2 cats and is curious about the younger one. My older cat does not like her at all. Pheobe is afraid of her so we are all working on getting along. We are both looking forward to a fun filled summer. 4/10/09 - Phoebe went home with her family today!!! |
