| UPDATE 12/6/09 - Tilly is doing great. We just got about 2 inches of snow, and she thinks it is the best thing ever. She ate herself a path around the backyard, and then ran and played in it. We had a hard time getting her to come inside! She was out this morning for about an hour just playing with a ball and running around in the snow-and eating it, too! She is such an easy, sweet pup. She gets along so well with Bosco and Rufus, and they all have fun wrestling and chasing each other. She is growing like a weed. She weighs about 60 pounds and she's a tall girl. She sleeps with my daughter every night, and is a big snuggler. I hope she will behave with the Christmas tree-Bosco used to steal ornaments off of the tree, so I had to barricade it when no one was home! I'll probably do that again this year, too. Tilly fits right in here with us, and we love her. UPDATE 8/2/09 - Tilly is now 4 months old, and she weighs 38 pounds. She has huge feet, and our vet commented that she is "very big boned". She is a very healthy girl. She is cute as a button. She has gotten a lot more spots. She looks like Cassius, her Dad. We've been taking Tilly, along with Bosco and Rufus, to a local park that has woods, streams and a pond. She is hesitant to go in the water, but she will eventually do a bit of wading with the other dogs. She meets other dogs on our walks, and she has learned to greet other dogs appropriately. She plays very roughly with Bosco and Rufus. She runs and launches herself into them-she is definetely a "body basher"! Bosco and Rufus love it, and they play along with her. She will run and dive under a small picnic table to get away from them when they are just about to get her! When we are on our daily walks, people stop to pet her, and she is a friendly, confident pup. She is a sweetie, and it's great to have her in our family. UPDATE 6/21/09 - Tilly, FKA Pearl, is doing great. She is now 12 weeks old and weighs 20 pounds. Everyone who meeets her just loves her. She is cute as a button and has the best personality. Bosco, who is 8, and Rufus, who is 3, are very tolerant of her puppy antics. She loves to play with them, and they play really well with her, too. She also loves to curl up with them when she takes a nap. Housebreaking is going well, but we're still working on it. After she does her business outside, she will run inside and sit down by the treat box and look up at it. Of course, she always gets a treat! She has met lots of people-I brought her to where I teach so she could meet the kids. She's an easy pup to have around so far! She will chew a bone or play by herself with her toys if nobody else is available. We are so happy that she's part of our family. 5/22/09 - Pearl has been adopted! HI! I'M PEARL!! I WAS BORN THIRD! But I would have been second if that silly boy hadn't cut in line. I guess its ok, because I'm prettier. I have a striped brindle patch over one eye. I already have a forever home waiting for me to grow up so I can go live with them! Hooray! I can't wait! 3/27/09- CHLOE HAS HAD HER PUPPIES! Cassius is the proud papa. |
