| UPDATE 7/2/09 - Newman is such a great dog! I feel very lucky to have been matched with him. He had an ear infection and some skin issues when I first got him. His ears are all cleared up now and he has a beautiful shiny coat. He loves going for walks, which we take three every day. He never lets me forget either. Every day when I get home from work, he reminds me with a bark (telling me to hurry up). Newman has a play buddy (another boxer) who comes over once a week to play. He has so much fun with her, running around the yard together! He is excellent in the house. He's mellow, but playful. Oh, and I can't forget about the car rides. He LOVES going in the car. I could ramble on forever about how Newman is such a good boy! I love everything about him and he is doing wonderful. 5/22/09 - Newman went home with his new family today! 5/6/09 - Newman has been doing great. Hes had a couple bathes due to the fact when he came into rescue he was horribly smelly!!! He climbs rite into the tub and stands patiently waiting for you to finish! I haven't been crating him at nite and alls been good, he sleeps with my daughter. the gentle leader has made all the difference in the world during our walks! Hes super friendly, loves to play fetch or tug of war with a rope! I don't understand why he is still here!!!! 4/27/09 - Newman is doing great!! Hes perfect inside, calm, listens. I have been walking him with a gentle leader and what a difference that makes!!! He loves to walk, he gets super excited when he sees the gentle leader!! He loves everyone he meets!! Hes a goofy boy who has unlimited amounts of love for people!! He weighs in at a whooping 72 lbs! he is a big love bug waiting patiently for his forever home!!! 4/9/09 - Newman is doing great. Sadly his home had to surrender him back to SCBR due to the bad economy. He is super sweet and loves everyone. He loves kids but maybe to much for a younger child as he is very strong. I have been walking him daily to help him learn some leash manners, he is learning and loves to walk!!! Newman loves other dogs but cats are another story!!
