12/26/09 - Molly is back and is getting some time to settle back in before meeting back up with the family. We will continue with updates as soon as she is settled in. She has had a long day of traveling and is currently resting (on the couch of course). In the future she will do best as an only dog.

10/10/09 - I was adopted today!

9/29/09 -
Greetings everyone,  My foster mom said I should write my own update because she was having trouble finding the time.   I will give it a shot since I have plenty of time on my paws just laying around waiting for my forever home to come along.  I hear my foster mom saying she just doesn't understand why I'm still waiting for this thing they call a forever home.
Okay what can I tell you about myself.  I'm a real looker, the pictures they took of me really don't show my true beauty.  I like to run, run, run in the yard.  They tell me I run like a deer and I'm really very graceful especially for a boxer.  I like to have someone to play with.  I'm still really just a baby so I have lots of energy to burn.  I'm practicing walking on a leash but I do get excited and forget sometimes and pull. Opps! I'll work on that.  I do know my basic commands and my foster people say I'm very smart.  I really enjoy spending time with my foster (skin) brothers too.  They play ball with me, but I really like to cuddle on the couch with them while they watch tv.  I  hope that someone needs a cuddle bug like me soon.  I'm ready for my forever home.  Are you ready for me?

Love and boxer kisses, Molly

Molly is settling in nicely.  She has played with the resident male dogs here and done really good.  One of them is the giant Newfoundland and the other is a boxer.  The female boxer that lives here really doesn't like to play with anyone that might be cuter than she is, so we won't try that right away.  The shelter said she wasn't good with cats and we saw just at the shelter she was barking and really too excited to see the cats so a home without cats is best.  Molly thinks she is a little girl. She is absolutely positive she fits in your lap and will try to cuddle at any opportunity.  I'm including some pictures this time as we were all able to get outside today now that the rain has stopped.  You can see she is a beauty, she is a little on the thin side but with a good diet she will put on some weight as she does love to eat.   We are going to the vet's Monday or Tuesday to get her rabies shot done and she is good to go.  I'm sure she won't be a guest here for long.  Are you going to be Miss Molly's new home?

Molly came to us from a local shelter that is really full at this time so they asked for our help with  this girl.  I went to get her this afternoon after work, she is a beautiful reverse brindle with white feet. She was happy to meet us and full of kisses.  She is only a year old, but tall for her age, long legs and very thin.  She seems to have the energy of a puppy still.  After a dozen laps or so around the yard she is settling down in her crate. We don't know a lot about her yet but we will update her as we get to know her.  We will get pictures of her tomorrow wait till you see how pretty she is.....
