| 12/3/09 - Hello everyone! Max here!!! I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I'm 6 years old, house broken, love a lot of food & water, and I can be left alone in the house with out getting into anything. I was neutered last week & updated on my shots. I love a lot of attention. My foster family says I have come a long way since I first came here. I was a little scared, and tried to be bossy, I guess, but now I feel so much better & loved! Foster Mom tells me all the time that I'm a sweet boy. FROM FOSTER: Max has come a long way from when he first came to us. He tries to be alpha, but I think he will be good with a strong person that can teach him that he is not the boss! he has come a long way with this already! He is a very sweet boy! He has started to play with our dog Casey and toys more! He looks to forward to when you come home. He is listening better as as well. He was neutered last week & heartworm tested & up to date on his shots. He just needed some time to adjust. He is ok with Casey, but when he is with my husband or I and Casey tries to come up, Max will growl at her to stay away and will continue to growl for a few minutes. We have been telling him "no" and use a squirt bottle and now, while he is growling, he will still do as he is told, like "lay down". He he is very smart, and a very sweet boy. 11/26/09 - Hello everyone. Max has been here for 5 days now and is doing pretty good. He was fixed & got his shots yesterday. I think he is an Alpha. I'm not sure yet if he will need to be an only dog , and need to study him more . He really likes my husband. He does look at him as the master of the house , but if Casey comes near my husband while Max is petting him,Max will growl at her to get away . He is house broken , eats & drinks well. He is very interested in cats and will chase them. I don't know if he will after being around them for a while and leave them alone. Not sure,I know Casey left ours alone after a while . He is a really good boy ! He is a little bit sore but he will be ok ! |
