| 5/8/09 - The house is empty! George, the last of Hope's puppies went home with his new family today! 4/24/09 - My father is fostering Lacey and he lives next door so everyday we hike down through the woods and the puppies play with his dogs and splash around in his pond. They come home with a few new scratches and covered in mud but they are happy and tired and a tired puppy is a good puppy. 4/15/09 - George has grown into a very handsome young boy. He loves to play with my dogs . Recently I took the puppies to my fathers house to play with his dogs and one of them is too rough and scares the puppies. She was playing rough with Faith and Faith started to cry. Before I could do anything George had run over to save his little sister. He is as sweet as he is handsome. 3/17/09 - Well the puppies are now ten weeks old and have been to the vet for their second set of shots. I also have new weights on them all. George is the small moose of the litter. He weighs 17lbs 15ozs and he is one solid puppy. Somehow though the smaller puppies are still able to flip him when they play. He loves to run around on the top of the snow banks when we are outside but he always seem to be following the other puppies. George is just a big laid back boy who likes to go with the flow. 2/19/09 - The puppies went to the vets on Tuesday and got a clean bill of health.. This is how much they weighed. George 10lbs 13oz Jack Frost 9lbs 12ozs Reyna 9lbs 4ozs Frosty 8lbs 13ozs Spirit 8lbs 12ozs Faith 8lbs 7ozs Brady 8lbs 5ozs Harvey 7lbs 5ozs Elsa 7lbs 3ozs Midget 6lbs 15ozs 2/11/09 - Well the puppies are now six weeks old and growing like crazy. The runt of the litter is 5 lbs and the largest is 8.5lbs. The others all weigh 6.5 to 7 lbs. They are running and playing like crazy and will be ready for their new homes soon. I will be having a Boxer Rescue Awareness Day at Petco in Auburn, Maine on 2-28-09 and plan to bring a couple of the puppies that are still available then with me. So if you want to meet the puppies drop in between 10am and 2pm! |
