| UPDATE 6/8/09 - Abigail continues to amaze us on a daily basis. People that meet her can't believe she is a 5 month old puppy...she is so well behaved. We have been working really hard to make she she gets a 2 mile run everyday. She and I bike together every morning which she LOVES because she can run as fast as she wants! She is doing wonderfully on the leash.
She has travelled with us for the last 3 weekends and has thankfully been a wonderful house guest! She is such a laid back girl! She wasn't eating great last month, but has improved greatly with a new kibble and is putting on weight nicely...she is 28 pounds now. The vet is happy with her in all aspects. She will be fixed in the next month...we are just waiting to see if a few teeth will fall out on their own before then so she can get everything straightened out in one shot. 4/4/09- Surprise! Brady was adopted today! 3/17/09 - Well the puppies are now ten weeks old and have been to the vet for their second set of shots. I also have new weights on them all. Brady girl weighs12lbs 15ozs. She loves to cuddle when she isn't playing with the other puppies. Brady is the sweet puppy but she has one bad habit. Whenever she gets the chance she grabs my hair and pulls. Then looks really hurt if I get mad. 2/19/09 - The puppies went to the vets on Tuesday and got a clean bill of health.. This is how much they weighed. George 10lbs 13oz Jack Frost 9lbs 12ozs Reyna 9lbs 4ozs Frosty 8lbs 13ozs Spirit 8lbs 12ozs Faith 8lbs 7ozs Brady 8lbs 5ozs Harvey 7lbs 5ozs Elsa 7lbs 3ozs Midget 6lbs 15ozs 2/11/09 - Well the puppies are now six weeks old and growing like crazy. The runt of the litter is 5 lbs and the largest is 8.5lbs. The others all weigh 6.5 to 7 lbs. They are running and playing like crazy and will be ready for their new homes soon. I will be having a Boxer Rescue Awareness Day at Petco in Auburn, Maine on 2-28-09 and plan to bring a couple of the puppies that are still available then with me. So if you want to meet the puppies drop in between 10am and 2pm! |
