UPDATE 2/15/10 -  I just can't say enough about Bella...she is a fantastic dog!  She just started her obedience classes last week and she was a star.  She has mastered the "watch me" command and we are workin on teaching her "place", where she will go to her favorite mat.  The trainer used her in a few demonstrations and she made us proud.  Her and Cody love to play, but I think they enjoy sleeping on top of each other better...it's so funny to see.  We'll keep everyone posted on her progress once she finishes her classes!

UPDATE 12/18/09 - Bella continues to do well in our home.  She fits right in and is really beginning to learn all of our routines and sayings.  She is signed up for obedience classes starting in early February, and we are excited to take her.  She went to the vet for the first time this past month and is now up to date on all of her shots.  We take both our dogs for a long walk after they eat every day, and even though it is freezing outside she couldn't be more excited.  When we mention the word "walk" she runs around the house for a minute then sits down by her leash.  Bella is a wonderful friend not only to our other dog, but to us as well.

UPDATE 11/18/09 - Bella is doing wonderfully here in our home.  She and our other boxer, Cody, play all the time and cuddle too.  When we first brought her home she slept in a doggy bed next to ours at night, but now she sleeps right between us with Cody.  She has certainly made herself right at home!  She seems to be really healthy, and we have switched her to a grain free food and her coat has never looked shinier.  One of her favorite things to do is play fetch with her squeaky ball.  She would chase that ball forever if we kept throwing it for her.  We will be signing her up for obedience training very soon, but she already knows some basic commands.  Although she could use to learn a few manners (she likes to put her paws up on the kitchen counter to see if there's anything yummy up there)!  Bella fits in great here and is a wonderful addition to our family.  More updates to come!

10/18/09 - I was adopted today!

9/29/09 -
Bella is doing wonderful here, she is setteling right in. Im am very happy to say she and Lina have finally become friends. They are playing and having fun together. We have gone on quite a few walks and she is great on the leash, no problems at all. She entertains her self with toys for hours, hard plastic or rubber, (shes a little rough on the stuffies. ) She loves the boys, if i cant find her, thats where she is laying on the floor with them while they play. Bella is a great giver of kisses, Oh my does she love to give kisses. She has even graduated to sleeping up stairs with us. She didnt want on the bed so i didnt encourage, she was perfectly happy on the dog bed beside us on the floor. She has came a long way here and she is a great gal. She is so pretty. Hurry, this girl is a steal. Get those apps in quick.

- Bella arrived in PA on Sat. What a beautiful girl. Her coat is very shiny. She is a little thin and very tall. She traveled well and loves to give kisses. She was spayed on friday and it looks great. She has a pressure sore on her elbow that is very sore, swollen and bleeds. She likes to play fetch and plays with toys. She likes the kids, she gave them a bunch of kisses. She listens very well and takes correction very well. She is getting along better with My boxer Lina, they still arent sure about each other yet but im sure they will be just fine. She walks fine on a leash, no pulling. She knows sit, stay, paw and down. She is a fast learner and getting in to the routine we have here quickly. Ill update more after we get to know her better.
