6/26/09 - This little cutie went off with her forever family today!!

6/3/09 -
Well, my foster mom is way behind in my update, so I’m Bella (1) and have decided to write this myself, thank you!
I must tell you that everyone who visits our home falls in love with me.  Why, you ask?  Well, first of all, I am very cute and very petite.  My manners are such that I’ve never even been reprimanded (unlike my bother boxer and sister bulldog - they are “just animals” if you know what I mean.... urgh, YUK!).
I don’t jump or beg, I’m not pushy. I’m gentle and I love all fur creatures as well as skin folks. My favorite pass-times are being petted, chewing on rawhides, and staring into the trees cause I love to watch the squirrels. Oh, and I walk great on a leash without pulling!!
I love my current family, but know that my forever home has yet to discover me. I’m ready anytime. The one request that I ask is that my new family update me on the website so that my foster folks know how happy I continue to be. They'll be happy for me, but they'll miss me.
That’s it for now. Love and kisses,
Your Bella

- Our little Bella completely warms our hearts every day – and I don’t just mean human hearts, our dogs love her just as much. She is so easy on the leash – stays right by our side and never pulls.  She hardly barks (if she even barks at all), but just occasionally she will let out a little low growl, if she wants to hold on to a favorite toy or rawhide. She doesn’t jump or counter surf.  In fact, we can’t think of one area for improvement!
When a visitor arrives, she enthusiastically, but calmly walks up to them and waits for her pets. Her tail wags with such energy that it sometimes goes in a circle, like a helicopter and we can imagine her lifting off of the ground and into the air!
Bella is scheduled to be neutered next Friday and will then be ready to join her forever home. That's good news for you- whomever you are!!! Bad news for us...

4/1/09 - Bella The Beautiful arrived from Alabama on Sunday at 7:00a.m. Our always-at-the-ready Meghan sprung out of bed to retrieve her from the van. She came to our home Monday evening. She is a very sweet and submissive girl who wants to be part of the canine and human family. She did not know how to maneuver stairs, but in her desire to be upstairs with the family, she taught herself! More to come!
