4/17/09 - Apollo went home with his forever family today!

4/6/09 -
Hello, Just in case you forgot I am Apollo. I think I am about 17 months old. I have gained some weight; my Foster Mommy feeds me so well. I am still waiting for my forever home. Its getting warmer outside, so I have been able to spend more time out there. I love sun bathing!!!! Ahhhh So nice!!! I am a barker. I can help it, I love to tell things who I am.
I've got 2 little problems I am still working. I promise I am!! I, well  you see, sometimes I cant hold it and I pee on the floor. I know, how, embarrassing, right? But its not all the time. The other is, well, I really think I need to be King Dog. I mean, I come from royalty, I think...lol. Other than that I am super cool! I can sit and give paw and stay. I am crate trained, but when I have had enough of that or I just gotta go (don't squeeze the charmin), I whine.
My foster Family is so good to me!!! I love the kids! They play with me. My foster mom loves to let me help her with her computer work and she gives me super rubs. Ahh... Love her. I show her in my eyes. So, that's all from me this week. I got to go take a nap now or find something to chew on. Better be my toy, cuz if its not, I get yelled at. YIKES!!!! Hey, I am still a puppy these teeth are killing me....Till next time Paws out!!!!!

- Hello, its me, Apollo. I am still waiting for my forever home! I am liking these people I am with but they keep telling me I am not here forever. So I am looking for that forever. I am Such a Stud, if I do say so myself. My foster mom says I melt her heart with looks I give her. She keeps telling me she is going to tape my ear down..lol..( ok, so it sticks out funny compared to my other ear. I think its a cute magnet and gets me more treats...lol). Msy foster mom tell people its cute. She doesn't think I can hear her. She should know better. When she says " Apollo Crate" I go, so yeah, I can hear her. I had a accident in the house today. I forgot to finish outside, but hey, it was raining. Like I said I am waiting for that forever home, But till then I will soak up all the, love and treats and food I can. These people sure do love me! I'll miss them when I go, but I got alot of love to give... Until next week, Paws OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3/11/09 - Apollo is settling in, finally! We are still working on our manners and going potty outside. He must be teething because he's chewing everything. Just like a baby, you need to put everything up or away or he will eat it. He has been gaining weight, which is good. His favorite thing to do is eat. That's all he want to do, eat! eat! eat!!!!! lol. He's doing very well in his crate. He will not go in on his own. He runs when I say "crate", so we bring him in with a leash and he goes in fine. He can do sit and paw and stay, but not for long, You give up quick because he drops a huge puddle of drool on the floor. He is going to make one awesome forever dog for somebody.

3/5/09 - Hello all, Just a little update. Other than his ears (he has ear mites and needs drops) and the fact he may have kennel cough!!!  Poor guy, he's doing soooooooooo much better.   I think crating him has helped so much.  He's much calmer each time he comes out he goes in when I tell him.  He doesn't whine.  His out time has been allowed a little more as he's earning it.  He truly is soooo sweet, he's going to make someone very happy.  He has learned sit and paw and stay.  He is still a work in progress but he's a good listener  and fast learner, I just wanted to share.  Off to buy him some cough medicine.

3/3/09 - Hello my name is Apollo.  I arrived at my Foster home Sunday.  I was an owner surrender to a shelter we work with.  This really Fun Lady brought me to them and she fed me chicken nuggets. Boy, they were good. I met my foster Family I have a lot of kids to play with and they pet me and give me treats and walk me.  They are so nice and there's this little guy who can look me in my eyes he's neat when he eats, I do too- what a bonus! I have learned to sit and now I give paw- Hey, you would to if you were getting a treat! I am working on getting along better with my foster dog friend. I go outside to use potty but sometimes I forget to and them my Foster Mom shakes her head at me. I am a good boy and so cute too. I am a work in progress but hey, you would be to if you have had the kind of life I have had for the past month or so.  All i want is to be loved and cuddled.  More on me soon so check back!

2/28/09 - Apollo arrived a happy boy.  He is under wight and shows signs of it but with some TLC he will put weight on.  He is super sweet and is learning the ropes of the house.  So far no accidents- he goes out does his business and is ready to come in.  Our boxer "Boxer" and Apollo seem to be good for the first day they are already licking each other and are like "hey you're ok".  Apollo is a very very strong boy defintely not ready to have anybody but a adult hold him on a leash.  He is getting plenty of  love from 5 kids and his Foster mom and dad and we hope to make him a  perfect gentleman for his forever home.
