| 11/14/09 - I was adopted today! 10/25/09 - The vet gave me a clean bill of health and everyone there wanted me to go home with them, I'm that darned cute! Before I forget, I would like to say that I would prefer to go to a forever home that has one or two playmates. I love playing tug o war with them and curling up with them when it's nap time. I heard my foster parents say that if nobody ever called for me, it wouldn't break their heart. I must really be a keeper! It must be because I don't pee or poop in the house, haven't ruined anyone's shoes and I don't need a crate....even when everyone is gone. I'm a good girl 24/7. 10/22/09 - I got an extra treat today! They told me I got a Frosty Paws because I haven't had any accidents in the house and I haven't chewed or destroyed any furniture! I don't know what the big deal is but a treat is a treat. I love playing with my foster sister Mabel. We rough-house 3 or 4 times a day then take long naps. When I play I growl a lot and it sounds like I'm fighting but I'm really just playing. Fooled them the first few times. Tomorrow I go to the vet to have my last shot, a once over, and a tiny surgery called "getting fixed". After tomorrow, I am road ready! Will somebody tell that big dog Hemi on the other page that I can take him at any distance!!! I don't care if he has a Hemi or not....I'll race him any time, any place! Tell him to put his bones where his mouth is! hehehehehehehehehehe 10/18/09 - The M&M girls are jealous of me already. I got to play "dress-up" today and wear foster Mom's jewelry and walk up and down the runway like Miss America. They all had to watch me have my pictures taken and I think they were all whispering how gorgeous I looked. I know they all like me because we played a lot and napped together in a big dog pile on the big bed. I love curling up and sleeping in the laps of all the peolple here too. I'm learning the routine here and it's pretty simple. They were all impressed when I showed them how to push the handle on the screen door and open it all by myself. I don't know why they told me "NO". I thought it was pretty clever. I can't help it if I have the typical "puppy enthusiasm"! I love squeeky toys and the best thing is, I have the run of the entire house all the time just like my foster sisters. I have been caught "counter surfing" more than once so I told them to keep the food out of my reach or I won't be responsible for my actions. Can't they see I need to gain a few pounds! Anyway, I'm going to the vet next week to get a shot and hopefully be spayed so I'll be ready to be some family's cute little bundle of joy. 10/17/09 - Well I made it! New Jersey all the way to Maine in one day. I drove so many miles today not only did I get my permit to drive, I even got my license! It's been a long day and I'm busy playing with my foster sisters so the foster rents are letting me do my thing and chill until tomorrow, then they said they are going to make me a star. There's only one thing I don't like so far. My foster Dad keeps asking me who pooped on my head because I have one brown spot right on the very top. Nobody pooped on my head and I don't think he's funny......but he does. Let's see what tomorrow brings. Oh yeah, thank you Auntie Joie for letting me borrow the t-shirt. It helped keep me warm today. |
